The Council met in Special Session at 8 O'clock
P.M. upon call of the Mayor, with the City Attorney am
the followmg members present: Mr. J"acobs, Mr. McFee,
Mr. Thayer, Mr. Waters, snd Mr. Wodischek.
The meeting came to order and the Hayor announced
it had been called principally for the purpose of oonsidering
the qualifications presented by oandidates in Groupe "D" am
"E", and for any other matters of business which might need
the action of the Oouncil at this time.

Oity Attorney Nowlin was then asked for his ~egal
opinion regarding qualifications of candidates, wo which
he replied that he found the deeds left with the City Clerk
to be in proper order and on improved real estate, also that all
oity taxes prior to 1944 have been paid.
Mr. Waters moved that inasmuch as the following
candidates qualifications are in proper order, their names be
placed on the offioial ballot: ~.R. McFee, D. J. Davis, and
C. J. White in Group "D"; F.W. Wodischek am M. M. DeWitt in
Group "E". Mr. ;racobs Ile conded t he mot ion whi ch oarried
unanimously on roll oall.
The Clerk'was instructed to have ballots printed
for Primary Election, and to return deeds to the cahdidatea.
There being no further business to came before the
Council, Council adjourned.
