The Council met in Special Session at 8:30
P.M. on call of the Mayor for the purpose of canvassing
the returns from the Primary Election, with the following
members present: Mr. Jacobs, Mr. McFee, Mr. Thayer,
Mr. Wodischek, and City Attorney Nowlin. Mr. Waters was
absent.
In conformity with Section 137 of the City
Charter, the Council then proceeded to canvass the
returns of the Primary Election held November 21st.
It was regularly moved, seconded and carried
that the ballot box be opened for the canvassing of the
election returns. The election_returns, as made to
the Mayor and City Clerk, were submitted for the Council's
approval, and i was moved by Mr. Wodischek that certi-
fication by the Election Board of the following election
returns be accepted:
FOR COUNCILMAN, GROUP "DR
D. J. Davis 85 votes
J; R. McFee 244 fotes
C. J. White 458 votes
FOR COUNCILMAN GROUP "En
M. M. DeWitt 509 votes
F; W. Wodischek 267 votes
Votes thrown out 17
Votes cast 810
Mr. McFee seconded the motion which carried unanimously
on roll call.
Mr. Wodischek moved that C. J. White's name be
placed on the General Election Ballot in Group "Dn and
that ~.M. DeWitt's name be placed in Group nEn. Mr.
McFee seconded the motion which carried unanimously on
roll call.
Councilman McFee moved that the same officials
be appoi~ed on the General Election Board as served on
