November 23rd, 1943
The Council met in adjourned session at 9:00 P.Ll. with
the City Attorney and the following Jrenbers present: Mr. Hill,
Mr. Jacobs, Mr. Miller, Mr. McFee and Mr. Wodischek.
In conformity with Section 137 of the City Charter, the
Council then proceeded to canvass the returns of the Primary Election
held on November 23rd.
It was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the
ballot box be opened for the canvassing of .the election returns. The
election returns, as made to the Mayor and Actin& City Clerk, were
submitted for the Council's approval, and it was moved by Mr. Wodischek
that certification by the Election Board of the following election
returns be accepted:

Mr. Miller seconded the motion and on roll call the vote was as
follows: Mr. Hill yes, Mr. Jacobs yes, Mr. Miller yes, Mr. McFee
yes, Mr. Wodischek yes. llhe motion carried.
Mr. Hill moved that the Mayor be authorized to issue
a proclamation in accordance with the provisions of the City
Charter advertising the General Election to be held Tuesday,
December 7th, 1943. Mr. McFee seconded the motion and on roll
ilall the vote was as follows: Mr. Hill yes, Mr. Jacobs yes,
Mr. Miller yes, Mr. McFee yes, Mr. Wodischek yes. Motion carried.
The Mayor stated that he would call a special meeting
some time before the General Election for the purpose of appo~ing
an Election Board and tranaacting any other business which might
come b.efore the meeting.
It was regularly moved, seconded and carried that
Council adjourn.
