AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 10.5, "CEME-
TERIES'', ARTICLE II, "RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING
DELRAY BEACH CEMETERY", OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, BY AMENDING
DIVISION 2, "PLOT OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE", BY
REPEALING SECTION 10.5-g2 "PLOT PRICES", AND ENACTING A
NEW SECTION 10.5-#2 "PLOT PRICES", TO PROVIDE FOR RATES
AND CHARGES TO BE COLLECTED FOR INFANT PLOTS AND
ADULT PLOTS FOR RESIDENTS AND NONRESIDENTS~ BY
AMENDING DIVISION 3, "INTERMENT, DISINTERMENT
REMOVAL", BY AMENDING SECTION 10.5-66 "SERVICE
CHARGES", TO PROVIDE FOR RATES AND CHARGES TO BE
COLLECTED FOR INTERMENT AND DISINTERMENT FOR RESI-
DENTS AND NONRESIDENTS, FOR SURCHARGES COLLECTED
FOR SATURDAY AND HOLIDAY WORK, AND FOR PAYMENT OF
CHARGESi PROVIDING A SAVING CLAUSEi PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL CF THE CITY OF
DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 10.5-#2, "Plot prices", oi the Code of Ordinances
Delray Beach, Florida, be, and the same is, hereby repealed, and a new Section 10.~-~2, "Plot prices"
is hereby enacted to read as follows:
(1) Infant Plots:
Resident 3 50.00
Nonresident 100.00
(2) Adult Plots:.
Resident 3250.00
Nonresident 50(~.00
Section 2. That Section 10.5-66, "Service charges", of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Delray Beach, Florida, is hereby amended to read as follows:
(A) Established. Service charges are hereby established to be as follows for the service
indicated:
Infant Adult
(1) Base charges:
(a) Interment=

(B) Payment. The charges for the services in connection with an interment (or
disinterment and/or removal) must be paid at the time of the issuance of the order for interment or
disinterment and/or removal.
Section 3. That should any section or provision oi this ordinance or any portion thereof,
any para§raph, sentence, or word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid,
such decision shall not affect the validity oi the remainder hereof as a whole or part thereof other
than the part declared to be invalid.
Section ~. That this ordinance shall become effective October 1, 19g2.
