AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY
BEACH, FLORIDA, CHANGING THE CITY'S LAND USE PLAN DESIG-
NATION IN THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR LOTS 3, 4, 5 AND
12, PLATT'S ACRES, PORTIONS OF GEORGIA STREET, G~ENZEL
AVENUE AND MILFRED STREET; ALSO THE W 1/2 OF TRACTS 22
AND 23 OF SW 1/4 OF SECTION 20, MODEL LAND COMPANY SUB-
DIVISION FROM SF-SINGLE FAMILY TO I-INDUSTRIAL, AND
AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board, at the meeting held on
July 2 7, 1982, unanimously recommended that the City's Land Use Plan desig-
nation in the Comprehensive Plan for the subject property be changed from
SF-Single Family to I-Industrial; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council at the September 28, 1982, regular meeting
considered the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Board; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council concurs in the recommendation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Sectlon 1. That the legal description of the subject property is
as follows:
Lots 3, 4, 5, and 12 of Platt's Acres, Plat Book 21, Page 47,
as recorded in Palm Beach County Records; together with the
South 25 feet of Georgia Street east of the west line of said
subdivision and west of the prolongation of the east line of
Lot 3 of said subdivision; together with Gwenzel Avenue between
Lots 3 and 4 of said subdivision; together with the West 25 feet
of Gwenzel Avenue south of the north, prolongation of the north
line of Lot 5 of said subdivision and north of Milfred Street;
together with Mildred Street east of the centerline of Gwenzel
Avenue; also the W 1/2 of Tracts 22 and 23 of SW 1/4 of Section
20, Model Land Company Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 1,
Page 4 of the Palm Beach County Records and less the right-of-
way for 1-95.
Section 2. That the Land Use Plan designation of the subject propert
in the Comprehensive Plan adopted by Ordinance No. 65-79 is hereby changed to
I-Industrial.
Section 3. That the Planning Director of the City of Delray Beach
shall, upon the effective date of this ordinance, change the Land Use Plan
of Delray Beach, Florida, to conform with the provisions hereof.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall become effective ten days after
passage on second and final reading.
PASSED AND ADOPTED in regular session on second and final reading on
this the 26th day of October , 1982.
