BY MR. SABATH THAT THIS QUESTION BE REFERRED BACK TO THE STREET COMMITTEE
TO SEE IF SOME AGREEABLE COMPRO~ISE COULD NOT BE 40~;=D 1~~ TC MEET THE
SITUATICN, AND THAT RECOMMENDATICN BE UADE BACK TC THE COUNCIL AT THE
NEXT REGULAR MEETING, MR. HILL SECDNDED THE MOTICN, ANO ON ROll CALL THE

PROVEMENT MR. MilLER SAID HE WOULD NOT BE IN FAVOR OF REMOVING THE MANGO
TREES BUT THOUG~lT SOME PLAN OF \\'IDENING COULD BE WORKED OUT WITHOUT DOING
THIS.

CHASE A FEW MORE CEMENT-END BENCHES FROM CARL PRICE, WHICH HE SAID COULD
BE PURCHASED COrAPLETE AT A PRICE OF AROUND $8.50. MR. MILLER MOVED THAT
THESE SUGGESTIONS OF HIS BE REFERRED TD THE PARKS COMMITTEE FOR RECOMMEN-
DATION AND REPORT BACK TO THE COUNCIL, AT ITS NEXT REGULAR MEETING. MR.

IT WAS STATED A CHARGE SHOULD 8E MADE. MR. SABP,TH SAID HE WOULD LI~E TO
SEE MR. REID PROVIDE A GUTTER ON THE NORTH SIDE OF HIS BUILDING BEFORE
GRANTING MR. REID'S RE~UEST. IT WAS THEREFORE MOVED BY COUNCILMAN JACOaS
THAT MR. REIC AGAIN HAVE HIS ATTENTION GALLED TO THE NEED FOR THIS GUTTER,
TO PREVENT WATER RUNNING OFF HIS ROOF INTO THE CITY's SWIM~ING POOL. MR.
