This term shall include all employees, agents, contractors or subcontractors of the vegetation maintenance company. "Publie Utility CemBRRV'''. .\ny indi'lidual or entity who engages in the basiness of pro';iding public utilities of any kind whatsoeyer, and 'who cuts or trims vegetation on any residential or commercial property in furtherance of or incidental to the operation of business. This term shall include all employees, agents, contractors or subcontractors of the public utility company. "Ree:ulsted .A..rtieles". All lawn and garden tools, cutting or trimming equipment, ffilrsery equipment, plant clippings, and lawn and yard debris. (B) Decontamination of Regulated fJ"ticles. (I) Time for Decontamination. (a) Vegetation Maintenance Compaflies. }JI vegetation maintenance companies shall decontaminate all regulated articles and vehicle tires on a non host environment (dri'leway or asphalt) upon departure from any property which it services where citrus trees are present upon the property. :\11 vegetation maintenance company personnel shall decontaminate themselves on a non host environment (driyeway or asphalt) upon departure from any property which it services where citrus trees are present on the property. (b) P1:1blic Utility Companies. ,AJI public utility companies shall decontaminate all regulated articles and ',ehicle tires on a non host environment (drivevray or asphalt) upon departure from any property upon '.vhich the public utility company engaged in the cutting or trimming of '.'egetation '."here citrus trees are present on the property. All public utility company personnel shall decontaminate themselYes on a non host enviromnent (driveway or asphalt) upon departure from aay property upon which the public utility compaflY engaged in the cutting or trimming of vegetation where citrus trees are present on the property. (2) Methods of Decontamination. All 'Iegetation maintenance companies and public utilities companies shall decontaminate all regulated articles, vehicle tires and personnel using one of the following methods: (a) All surfaces must be sprayed to the point of nmoff with a dilute solution of chlorine bleach, made by adding one (1) once of chlorine bleach to one (I) gallon of water. This solution shall be made fresh eyery three days. (13 ) All vegetation mamtenaflce company personnel and public utility company personnel shall decontaminate themsel',es by washing or treating all exposed areas of the body and their shoes v/ith an antibacterial soap, wash, spray, or other approyed solution. In the event of direct contact with citrus trees, vegetation maintenance personnel and public utility company personnel shall decontaminate themselves by washing or treating exposed articles of clothing with an antibacterial soap, wash, spray, or other approved solution. (C) Decals.All vegetation maintenance companies and public utility companies shall obtain a decal or decals from the City to signify that the company and its personnel have been made aware of these regulations. Every vehicle utilized by a 'Il;,getation maintenance company or a public utility company in accordance vlith subsections (B)(l)(a) or (B)(1)(b) of this section shall display the decal pro'lided for by this subsection on the windshield of'lehicles regulated under this section. The failure of a vegetation maintenance company or public utilities company to obtain, receive or display a decal shall not excuse any violation of this section. 2 ORD. NO. 62-06 CD) Penalties for Violation of These ProvisioNs. Violations of this section shall be pooished pUf'suant to Section 97.99. CE) Enforcement of These Proyisions. The provisions of this section shall be enforced and carried out by the City's police officers, code enf-orcement officers, or both. The City adopts all enforcement methods proyided by lavl or equity which include, but are not limited to, the issuance of citation, summons, Notice to Appear in County Court, or arrest for yiolation of municipal ordinances, as proyided for in Chapter 90 I, Florida Statutes. Section 2. It is the intention of the City of Commission of the City of Delray Beach that the provisions of this Ordinance shall become and be made a part of the Ordinances of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, and that the Sections of this ordinance may be renumbered, re-Iettered and the word "Ordinance" may be changed to "Section", "Article" or such other word or phrase in order to accomplish such intention. Section 3.
