The Counoil met in adjourned regular
at 7:30 P.M. with the following members present;
Mr. Hall, Mr. Hill, Mr. Miller and Mr. Wodischek.
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor
who submitted committee appointments for the Council's
approval, as follows:

It was regularly moved, seoonded and carried that said
appointments be approved and confirmed.
The Clerk presented the request of Sal:te
Jones for water service to be extended to her property
in the Maggie Rolle Subdivision, Seotion 17. The matter
was discussed, and it was estimated that such extension
would require a thousand feet of water main. the Clerk
was instructed to inform applicant that same would be too
costly an extension for the servicing of only one consumer.

It was repotted objection had been raised to
the use of loud speak;Y.fs and sound wagons on the streets
of Delray, and in this conneotion, the Mayor was instructed
to have the Chief of Police regulate same, eliminating the
excessive or immoderate playing of such instruments.
The matter of establishing a public library
in the City came up again for discussion, and it was
regularly moved, seconded and carried that Mr. Miller confer
with members of the Library Committee for the purpose of
ascertaining just what they wished the Counoil to do in
regard to calling an election for the purpose of deciding
on said question. '
There being no further business the Council
regularly adjourned.
