The Council sat in special session at 7:30 P.M.
for the purpose of revising license tax. The follow-
ing members were present: Mr. Hall, Mr. Hill, Mr.
Miller and Mr. Wodischek. Mr. Gwynn came in late.

PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS
ORDINANCE AND REGULATIONS HEREUNDER.
It was regularly moved, second and unanimously carried
that said ordinance be passed on its seoond reading and
:final passage.

CREATING THE OFFICE OF ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR AND
PRESCRIBING HIS AUTHORITY AND DUTIES; REQUIRING
THAT NO ELECTRIC VITRING, DEVICES, FIXTURES
APPLIANCES OR EQUIPMENT SHALL BE INSTALLED
WITHOUT FIRST SECURING A PERMIT THEREFOR; CREAT-
ING A BOARD OF ELECTRICAL EY~INERS; PROVIDING
FOR THE LICENSING OF PERSONS, FIR1IS AND COR-
PORATIONSENGAGING IN THE BUSINESS OF ELECTRICAL
CONTRACTING OR EMPLOYING ELECTRICIANS TO DO
CERTAIN ELECTRICAL WORK ON LI1ITTED PREMISES;
MAKING IT UNLAWFUL TO ENGAGE IN THE BUSINESS

The ordinanoe, having been read in full the second time, it
was regularly moved, seconded and carried that same .
be adopted on its second reading.
Building Inspector L.W. Cook brought before
the Council, a permit for building for Mr. G.J.
Pinckney, which was shy 62 feet in actual square
footage and from the shape of the floor plan the
house would not show from an outside appearance of
being shy this footage, and it was moved by Mr.
Wodischek, seconded by Mr. Miller and unanimously
carried, that same be granted as requested.
There being no further business to be
considered, the Council adjourned.
