09-23-38 Special 1017 COUNCIL CHAMBER September 23, 1938 The Council met in special session at 7:00 P.M. on call of the Mayor, for the purpose of adopting the liquor zoning ordinance. The City Attorney and all members of the Council were present. !!r. Hall was absent for a short time during the meeting, during which Mr. Gwynn acted as Chairman, Pro Tem. The ordinance, submitted by the Clerk, was by motion regularly made seconded and carried, ordered placed on its second reading. After reading of the ordinance in full, and discussion of same, it was moved by Mr. Hall that it be adopted on its second reading and final passage. ~~. Wodischek seconded Mr. Hall's motion for adopt- ion, and on roll call the vote was as follows: Mr. Gwynn yes, Mr. &il1 ~'e[1, Mr. Hill absent, M.r. Miller yes, and Mr. Vlodischek yes. The motion ViaS c'irried and the following ordinance was thereby declared aDopted: ORDINANCE 238 BOOK 4 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITI OF DELF~~Y BEACH, FLORIDA, DESIGNATING THE LOC,'TIONS IN '!:'~HCH INTOXIC.\TING LI,<UORS !,!AY BE SOLD IN THE CITY OF DELF~Y BEACH, FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING TF~T NO LICENSE SF~LL 3E ISSUED FOR TEE SALE OF INTOXICATING LIGUORS AT ANY OTHER. LOCATION IN SAID CITY OF D~LRAY BEACH, FLORIDA. A long discussion then ensued as to the des- irability of amending and extending said zoning limits imposed by Ordinance 238. Finally, in accord with the Council's decision, the following ordinance was by motion regularly made, seconded and unanimously carried, ordered placed on its first reading: ORDINANCE 244 BOOK 4 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DELhAY BEACH, FLORIDA RESTRICTING THE LOCATIONS t~illREIN IlfrOXICATING LIQUORS NL\Y BE SOLD IN THE CITY OF DELF:AY BEACH, FLOIIDA, AND PROVIDING TPAT NO LICE})SE SHl,LL BE ISSUED FOR THE SALE OF II\1TOXICATING LI~UORS AT ANY OTHER LOCATION IN THE CITY OF DELRJ.Y EEACH, FLORIDA. 1.018 COUNCIL CH~~BER - September 23, 1938 The 0rdinance having been read in full the first time, it was moved by ~. Hall that same be passed on its first reading. lJr. Miller seconded the motion, and on roll call the vote was as follows: ~. Gwynn yes, Mx. Hall yes, Mr. Hill yes, ~. Miller yes and ~. Wodischek yes. The motion was declared carried. The business of the meeting having been completed, Council regularly adjourned to meet with Messrs.
