COUNCIL CHAMBER
December 14, 1938
The Council met in suecial sessiOn at 9:00 P.M.
with the following members present: Mr. Hall, Mr. Hill,
Mr. Miller and Mr. Wodischek.
Councilman Hill announced that the session had
been called for the purpose of supplying the City
Attorney with associate counsel to aid him in answering
bond suit cases in the Federal Court at Miami, in the
event that Mr. Nowlin is unable to obtain the voluntary
consent of the suing attorneys to delay hearing of said
cases.
It was accordingly moved by Mr. Miller that a
resolution be drawn authorizing Mr. Nowlin to employ
associate Counsel to represent the City in the Federal
Court, for one appearance, at a fee not to exceed $100.00.
Mr. Wodischek seconded the motion and on roll call the
vote was as follows: Mr. Hall yes, Mr. Hill yes, Mr.
Miller yes and Mr. Wodischek yes. The motion was
declared carried.
The purpose of the meeting having been accomplished
it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that
Council adjourn.
