The City of Delray Beach invites residents to attend the Annual Citizen's Roundtable and
Infrastructure Public Hearing on Tuesday. January 30. 2007 at 7:00 D.m. in the Crest
Theatre at Old School Square (OSS). and at 8:00 p.m. in the Old School Square Gym-
nasium, 51 North Swinton Avenue, Delray Beach.
The meeting will consist of two parts. The first part, in the Crest Theatre, will be the annual
State of the City report with presentations by the Planning and Zoning Board, Community
Redevelopment Agency and the City Administration. The report will focus on projects and
activities implemented in Delray Beach over the past year and will address the progress
made toward implementing and meeting the goals and objectives of the Comprehensive
Plan, including improvements to water, sewer, drainage, and street systems; the status of
neighborhood assistance programs; and the financial status of the City.
The second portion of the Annual Citizen's Roundtable, located in the OSS Gymnasium,
will be devoted to public participation, in a table discussion format, regarding City Serv-
ices, and issues facing the city. Public input will also be requested regarding infrastructure
needs for the purpose of identifying neighborhoods within the city which are most in need
of physical improvements. This input will be considered in the preparation of the Public
Improvements work program for the next fiscal year (October 1 , 2007 through September
30, 2008).
All residents are encouraged to take this opportunity to express their ideas, concerns, and
questions.
