12-08-37 81.5 COUNCIL CHAMBER December 8th, 1937 In conformity with Section 137 of the City Charter the Council met in called session at 7:30 P.M. for the purpose of canvassing the returns of the :?rLl13.ry election held December 7th. The City Attorney, and the following members were present: Mr. Barton, 1rr. Genton, Mr. Hill and Mr. Wodischek. Mr. Gwynn was absent. The City Clerk reported that }~. J.L. Troup had served as Clerk of the Election Board in place of ~~. Hand, who was unable to act in that office. It was regularly moved by Mr. Barton, seconded by Mr. Wodischek and unanimously carried that the following resolution be adopted. WHEREAS, certified copies of tl\e election returns as delivered to the Mayor and City Clerk by election officials in charge of the Primary Election, held in the City of Delray Beach on December 7th, show votes to have been cast as follows for candidates running for nomination in Claas "B": i._. "' . Arthur Barton D.M. Bradshaw E.C. Hall 77 188 191 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, that D.M. Bradshaw and E.C. Hall be declared the duly elected nominees for the office of Councilman, running in Class "B". AND BE IT ?JRTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and is herepy authorized to place the above norninees'names on the official ballot as candidates for Councilman in Class "B".
