A RESOLUTION OF TI-IE 01Y OF DELRAY BEAŒI, FLORIDA,
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WI1H CONTINENTAL
CDNS1RUCTION USA FOR CDNS1RUCTION SERVICES;
AUTHORIZING TI-IE 01Y MANAGER TO EXECUΠTI-IE
AGREEMENT AND TAKE ALL ACTIONS NECESSARY TO
EFFECTUATE 1HIS AGREEMENT; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DA TE; AND FOR OTI-IER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Delray Beach (Gt:0 is authorized to enter into agreements to provide services,
programming and products in accordance with its Charten and
WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into an agreement with Continental Construction USA, for
construction services for Block 63 and 5th Avenue Alley; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems approval of this Resolution to be in the best interest of the
health, safety, and welfare of the residents and citizens of the City of Delray Beach and the public at large.
NOW, TI-IEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TI-IE 01Y CDNIMISSION OF TI-IE 01Y OF
DELRAY BEAŒI, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are hereby affinned and ratified.
Section 2. The Gty Commission of the Gty of Delray Beach has reviewed and hereby approves
this Agreement between the Gty and Continental Construction USA, a copy of which is attached to this
resolution as Exhibit "A".
Section 3. The City Commission authorizes the City Manager to execute the Agreement and any
amendments and/ or renewals thereto and take any other actions necessary to effectuate this Agreement.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
