AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY
BEACH, FLORIDA, REZONING AND PLACING LAND PRESENTLY
ZONED R-1AA (SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING) DISTRICT IN RM-6
(MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING) DISTRICT, LOTS 29 THROUGH 32
INCLUSIVE AND LOTS 36 THROUGH 38 INCLUSIVE OF DEL HARBOUR
SUBDIVISION LOCATED ON BOTH SIDES OF DEL-HAVEN DRIVE BE-
TWEEN THE INTRACOASTAL WATERWAY AND A1A, AND AMENDING
"ZONING MAP OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, 1977"
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board, at the meeting held on
March 20, 1979, recommended rezoning and placing land presently zoned
R-1AA (Single Family Dwelling) District in RM-6 (Multiple Family Dwelling)
District; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council at the March 26, 1979, regular meeting
considered the rezoning request and authorized preparation of an ordinance
to effect the rezoning,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described property in the City
of Delray Beach, Florida, is hereby rezoned and placed in the RM-6
(Multiple Family Dwelling) District as defined in Chapter 29 of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Del~ray Beach to-wit:
Lots 29 through 32 inclusive and lots 36 through 38
inclusive of Del Harbour Subdivision, according to
the Plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 25, Page
148, of the Public Records of Palm Beach County,
Florida. This property is located on both sides of
Del-Haven Drive between the Intracoastal Waterway
and A1A.
Section 2. That the Planning Director of said City shall, upon
the effective date of this ordinance change the Zoning Map of Delray
Beach, Florida, to conform with the provisions of Section 1, hereof.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall become effective ten days
after passage on second and final reading.
PASSED AND ADOPTED in regular session on second and final
reading on this the 23rd day of April , 1979.
