The Oounoil met in adjourned stated session at 3:00
P.M. with the Mayor a:nd all oounoilmen present. The Oity
A:btorney, Mr. Kearley and Mr. LtEngle were present. and

1935-1936 budge:b a:ntl,mlllage rate ;,ced as to poss1b1e means,
of raiSing revenue ~o Offset 15% of the opeTating taxes lost
through allowanoe of Homestead exemptlonson the 1935 roll.
It was tne opinion of Mr. L 'Engle that his oOII1lll1ttee
would demand only l5 mills for bond interest. being the same
as last year's levy for this pul'pose.
It .as regularly moved, seoQncled and oarried that the
CounCil adjourn to meet 'l'uelJd~, Sept~mber lOth for ad-
option ot the 1935...1936 bUdget and millage rate.
