Mr. Foote moved the adoption of the resolution, whlch was seconded by Mr. Johnslon and carried unanimously, The ClerIc presented deed and mortgage rele ase on Block 134, West of Canal, transferred to the Clty by Mr. Zook in consideration of $50.00 cred:iJt on delinquent beach taxes. Mr. Foote moved tha t these instruments be accepted and the < Clerk directed 10 allow Zook Nurserles a credit of $50.00 on taxes, or refund Mr. Zook $50.00 in the event that all taxes had been paid on the Nursery properties; also that the, Clerk be directed to have theBe instruments placed on record. Mr. Hill stated too t he had had a complalnt from the Seacrest Hotel regarding mosqultoes which they belleved were due to the open ditches recently dug between Canal and Ocean. There was some discufision regarding the unsightly structures recen tly erected, and whioh are permissl ble under our present buildlng regula-c 10ns. Mr. Foote stated that we would continue to have suoh bul1dings until an ordinance wlth more stringent regulations is adopted. The Fire Chlef was directed to see that all structures do actually ocmply wlth pennlt as granted. -- It was regularly moved, seoonded and carrled that, pennlssion be granted Mr. E.M. Wilson to build wlthin three feet of lot line In the ereotion of an ad~ltion.to his home in Dellda, it being stated that this was not objectionable, Inasmuoh as he owned the adjoinlng lot also. Mr. Foote made a report on the canal project. He sald that the C.W.A. had quit us entlrely for the present at least, and to keep the orane in operation it would cost approxlma tely $115.00 a week and deslred to know If it was the wlll of the Counoil that the work be carried on on thls basls. It was generally conceded that the cmme be kept on the job full time as outllned. and same Was left up to Mr. Foote's dlscretion.
