Mr. Foote seconded the motion" which carried unanimously.
Mr. Tr01.!P addressed tre Council wi th regard to the cElllletery;which
he said had beeD neglected for 1;he past couple of years and requested
the City to grant one day's labor a wi!5ek towards 1;he upkeep and mainte- ~,
nance of same, stating he would per sonally oversee sucll work without
expense to the City. Mr. Troup's pjlan was favorably received but upon
Mr. Byrd's advice it was decided to post:pone any appropriations or
money or labor until after the enSUing year's budget had been set and
decided upon. Mr. Foo1;e suggested that the Park and Cemetery Committee
bring in recolllIllendations at next meeting, along tlie line suggested by,
Mr. Troup.
