AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY
BEACH, FLORIDA, REZONING AND PLACING LAND PRESENTLY
ZONED PRD-7 (PLANNED RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT IN RM-10
(MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING) DISTRICT, A PARCEL OF LAND
IN SECTION 7, TOWNSHIP 46 SOUTH, RANGE 43 EAST, LOCATED
AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF CONGRESS AVENUE AND THE L-30
CANAL, AND AMENDING "ZONING MAP OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA,
1977".
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board, at the meeting held on
May 15, 1979, recommended rezoning and placing land presently zoned PRD-7
(Planned Residential) District in RM-10 (Multiple Family Dwelling) District;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council at the May 21, 1979, workshop meeting
considered the rezoning request and authorized preparation of an ordinance
i to effect the rezoning,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described property-in the City of
Delray Beach, Florida, is hereby rezoned and placed in the RM-10 (Multiple
Family Dwelling) District as defined in Chapter 29 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Delray Beach to-wit:
A parcel of land lying in the northeast quarter of
Section 7, Township 46 South, Range 43 East, Palm ~
Beach County, Florida; being more particularly
described as follows:
Commence at the northeast corner of said Section 7;
thence S 0023'20'` E, along the east line of said
Section 7, for 90.00 feet; thence N 89o54'30'' W for
53.00 feet to the point of beginning of the following
described parcel of land said point of beginning
being the point of intersection of the southerly
right-of-way line of Lake Worth Drainage District
Canal L-30 and the westerly right-of-way line of
Congress Avenue as laid out and now in use; thence
continue N 89o54'30'' W along said southerly right-of-way
line of L.W.D.D. Canal L-30, for 1635.97 feet; thence
S 1°50'30,, W for 2103.41 feet; thence S 89054'30'' E
for 1591.00 feet to a point on a circular curve, said
point bearing S 75o28'42'' E from the radius point of
said curve; thence northeasterly along a circular curve
to the left having a radius of 3766.80 feet a central
angle of 14054'38,, for an arc distance of 980.26 feet,
to a point of tangency; thence N 0o23' 20" W for 1132.21
feet to the point of beginning (said last mentioned two
courses being along said westerly right-of-way line of
Congress Avenue). The above lands 80 acres, more or less.
This property is located on the West side of Congress
Avenue between Lake Ida Road and Boynton Canal.
Section 2. That the Planning Director of said City shall, upon
the effective date of this ordinance change the Zoning Map of Delray Beach,
Florida, to conform with the provisions of Section 1, hereof.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall become effective ten (10)
days after passage on second and final reading.

(PLANNED RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT, A PARCEL OF LAND IN

ON THE NORTH SIDE OF LAKE IDA ROAD BETWEEN DAVIS ROAD
AND CONGRESS AVENUE, AND AMENDING "ZONING MAP OF DELRAY
BEACH, FLORIDA, 1977".
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board, at the meeting held on
May 15, 1979, recommended rezoning and placing land presently zoned PRD-7
(Planned Residential) District in PRD-4 (Planned Residential) District;
and,

North of Lake Ida Road and West of Congress Avenue, Palm
Beach County, Florida, LESS:
a. LWDD Canal No. L-30,
West 165 feet thereof,
c. East 490 feet of South 820 feet of West 655 feet, and
LESS:
Commence at the northeast corner of said Section 7; thence
S 0o23'20'' E along the east line of said Section 7, for
90.00 feet; thence N 89o54'30'' W for 53.00 feet to the
point of beginning of the following described parcel of
land, said point of beginning being the point of intersection

westerly 1253.23 feet along said Westerly right-of-way line
and along the arc of said curve having for its elements a
radius of 3766.80 feet and a central angle of 19o03'45'' to
a point of tangency; thence run S 18o40'25'' W 718.02 feet
along said Westerly right-of-way line to the Point of Beginning;
thence continue S 18o40'25'' W 920.45 feet, along said Westerly
right-of-way line to a point of intersection with the Northerly
right-of-way line of Lake Ida Road as shown on the Plat of
DELRAY SHORES according to the Plat thereof recorded in Plat
Book 24, Page 233 of the Public Records of Palm Beach County,
Florida, thence run N 64o09'50'' W 54.16 feet along said
Northerly right-of-way line to a point of curvature of a
curve concave to the Southwest; thence run Northwesterly
307.80 feet along said Northerly right-of-way line and along
the arc of said curve having for its elements a radius of
1649.66 feet, a central angle of 10o41'26,, and a chord bearing
of N 69°29'18,, W to a point; thence run N 18o40'25'' E, 781.96
feet to a point; thence run East 381.00 feet to the Point of
Beginning; containing an area of 7.00 acres more or less.
This property is located on the West side of Congress Avenue
between Lake Ida Road and Boynton Canal.
Section 2. That the Planning Director of said City shall, upon
the effective date of this ordinance change the Zoning Map of Delray Beach,
