March 28th, 1932.

The Council met in regular session at 7:30 P: M.
The Mayor and all members of tiie Council were present.
Minutes: of the meeting held March 14th, 1932, were
read and approved.
F A communication was read from the woman's .Club
thanking the Council far the cooperation given during their ,
flower show.
A aomuxunication was read Prom State Comptroller Amos" ~
regarding ooeupatioAal license on chain stores and referred.°;
to the Ordinance Committee.
' A coxumuhieatioh was-read Prom Mayor &a17. vetoing the.
' amendment of the prohibition ordinance and the same was
ordered filed.

On motion duly made, seconded and aarried the:."matte"r
of extending the water main on North Swinton Avenue .was re-
(erred to the Water Committee for recommendation.
The representatives of the State Board of Health -"~
came before the Council with reference to the clean up cam
paign they were putting on in certain sections::oP the 'City :..
and the installing of sanitary closets. The Council assured
them of their cooperation in the matter-.and it was regularly;""

Mr. Smith reported. that in-order to complete the.

have certain electric light-poles removed from the street:.`

instructed to have a notice published in the Delray Base". ~

I~Ir. Berg offered the following motion, which was
seconded by Mr. Crego and carried: That the services of __.
the life guard at the beach be dispensed with on April 1st.
St was regularly moved, seconded and carried that
the bills be referred to the Finance Committee. The follow-
ing bills having been audited and 0. K.'d by the Finance
Committee were referred back to the Council and on roll call
ordered paid:

&4r. Berg oi'fered the following motion: That. all
City employees who refused to sign the agreement set up by
the Counoil regarding salaries by the neat regular meeting
be requested to resign. The motion was seconded by Mr.
3?ggans and carried.
It was regularly moved, seconded and carried that
Counoil adjourn to meet Wednesday; March 30th, 1932, at f;
