06-27-32 Regular COUNCIL CHAMBER June 27th, 1932. ~` The Council met in regular session at 7:30 P. M. The. Mayor, Mr. Berg, Mr. Crego, Mr. Jacobs and Mr. Smith, were present. The minutes of the meeting held June 13th were read ' and approved. ~' ~. communication was read Prom the Florida League oP . Municipalities inviting the City Officials to meet with them in Hollywood on July 21st and 22nd. It was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the invitation be accepted. Mr.-Berg offered the Pollowing motion: That the City Clerk be authorized and ins trueted to have the Underwood, typewriter in the tag office conditioned at an expense oP 7150. The motion was seeded by Mr. Jacobs and carried. ~~ a On motion duly made, seconded and carried the Clerk was authorized to transfer $2,500,063 Prom the 9Pater ~,ccaunt . in the Florida State Bank to the General Fund. .. In the matter oP relieving the water overflow at the Federal Highway and Southeast First Street the Committee was instructed to wait on the engineers and insist on havif~g ' a drain installed at this point. Mr. Evans came. before the Counoil and requested per- c. mission to mJVe'lumber in the Gray & I3udley building on Block 10 in Osceola Park. It was moved, seconded and carried that this matter be referred to the Fire Chief. Mr. Crego, Chaixxnau oP the Sanitar Committee, re- ported that his committee did not~mmend a change o emp~.c?yees in that department at the present time. sr.Gtv~'° «. ., ~' It was regularly moved; seconded and carrieG~: current bills be referred to the Finance Committee. The Pollowing bills having been audited and 0.
