Fenno.,'"' it was regularly moved, secon ded and carried that they be '~t held over until the return of the City Attorney. ,; Mr. Smith, Chairman of the Water Committee, reporte that he had had fire chief Cook inspect the water tank and he found certain parts of the tank were badly in need of a coat of paint. No action was taken. A report was read from the State Board of Health stating that the City water was. very gu od. f ~,. A telegram was read from Mr. J. M. Boyd, County r; Engineer, extending an invitation to members of the Coanoi: to loin with the County Committee at Tallahassee on Wednes~ to present claims for Federal relief funds. .The Clerk was requested to acknowledge and file same. The following reso3ution was introduced by Mr. Berk WHEREAS the City Police Department oP the City of Delray Beach, Florida, recovered an abandonded Overland touring a within the corporate limits of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, 1932 license tag 140. 189-946, engine No. 200024, AND WHEREAS the recordsof the State Automobile Co '' missioner show one Robert Jones of Weat.Palm Beach, Flori to be the onvner of said automobile ANA WHEREAS a registered notice was mailed to Rob'er ,, Jones, 926 14th Street, West Palm Beach, Florida, on J11~. 26th, 1932, notifying him'that unless he'aslled and~'pxEid ownership that said ear would be sold on August 6th, 7.9€i2 Registered receipt was returned signed by C. P. Adams.`' NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLPED that the Chief of Police of the. A resolutinn was read from the Delray Beach Business Mens Association regarding the conduct of the recreation games in the City Park and on motion duly made, seconded and carried the matter was referred to the Chairman of the Park Committee. ~a A communication was read from the Business Men's ~~ Association with reference to the acceptance of bonds in ~ ~' ~ part payment of City taxes. This was followed by a committee z; who appeared before the Council and the matter was discussed at considerable length, after which the following motion was ,;, , offered by Mr. Crego: That the matter be laid over until thee-a.~T next regular meeting and that the Tax Collector be instructed?'., ~~' not to enforce payment on personal taxes before September 15(1, ,~` 1932. A communication was read from the Delray Tax Adjust-_: went Company demanding payment of .certain past due interest;;: coupons held by that company. Mr. Crego moved that the ~1e7 be authorized and instructed to per. these coupons. The .motion was seconded by Mr. Berg and on roll call the vote we as follows: Mr. Berg yes,' Nir. The following motion was offered by Mr. Crego: Thaf` the :Street Committee be authorized and instructed to constre a walk leading to the ladies bath house at the ocean beach:' The motion was seconded by Mr. Berg and carried. It was regularly moved, seconded and carried that current bills be referred to the Finance Committee.
