The Council met at 9:30 A. B.S. to sit as an Equalization
Board and pass on complaints of personal property owners on E
the personal supplementary tax assessment rolls which the
Council had ordered prepared by the Assessor. Ali members of
the Council were present. _'';
Ddr. Eugene Burd of the Burd Produce Company appeared
before the Council and protested the X100,00 valuation placed
on his office furniture and fixtures. It was moved by flrIr.
Diggans and seconded by Mr. Crego that this assessment be
reduced to x"50,00 and on roll call the motion was unanimously

It was moved by Mr. Berg and seconded by Mr. Crego that
the assesamettt of the East Coast Produce Company be raised to .
~250y00. On roll call the vote was as follows:- Mr. Berg yes;: ._
Pdr. Crego yes, Mr: Diggans no, Mr. Jacobs yes and IvTr. Smith
yes. _ ?.„
On motion duly made, seconded and carried the assess-
ments of T. L. Barron and R. H.-Rex were each reduced from
r~100.00 to ~50~00.
