The minutes of meetings held September 12th, 14th, 16th and 23rd were read and approved. g communication was read Prom the Nilliams Dairy re- questing the return of their license fee. 'N1r. Crego moved, that the fee bf X5.00 be refunded. The motion was lost for want of a second. C ~; ;: The cppliesaton of Lawrence ~i11 for the position of life guard at the beach was read and ordered filed. A commnnieaton was read from Mr, E. ~L. Kenyon re- '" gar ding the parking of automobiles in the entrance to ,his apartments on the North Dixie 'Highway. It was regularly moved, seconded .and carried that this matter be referr`sd to' ' the `Chief of Boliee. The demand of the Delray Tax ~d~ustment Company 'was ` taken up and discussed. and' on motion duly made, .seconded and-carried the :Clerk was instructed to notify this company.. .than no funds were available to pay .the interest coupons in i..i question... _: The following motion was offered b y Mr. Berg: Thaf:.' the Clerk be authorized and instructed to transfer 500;0© from the water Plant Fund to the General Fund. Mr. E. F. 13ollarn came before the Council and re- quested that the alley leading vilest from Fourth Avenue between Atlantic Avenue and First Streets be rocked. Tt was moved by P+Zr. Diggans that this matter be referred to the Street-Committee with poLver to act. The motion was seconded by Par. Berg and on roll call unanimously carried. ~ Mr. E. I3. Scott came before the Council and re- quested dome relief regarding occupational license charged the Express Company. On ruotion of nx. Diggans, seconded by Mr. Berg and unanimou sly carried the matter was referred to the City Attorney and Ordinance Committee to investigate and report.
