The minutes of meeting he ld July 13th were read and approved. Notices were received from the Palm Beach Gampany, k„ owners of ~e main City ^Bonds, demanding that a tax levy `' sufficient to meet past due sums for principal and interest and the amounts to become due for principal and interest upon said bonds the coming fiscal year. It was moved, se Bonded and carried that the Chairman of- the Street Comraitt~e be authorized to continue giv ing employ went to such needy .persons as he coald`use. ( ~ ~ Mr. Guptill came before the Council with a request that ~ _,_ the water main be extended westward"along the Germantown Road. ~• It was moved by Pdr. Berg, seconded by I3octor Love and carried that this matter be referred to the Water Committee to inves- tigate and report. Reverend I;icFadden then came before the Council in refer- enee to having the water .main extended on North Swindon Avenue. `~ It was moved, seconded and carried that thisn^~atter be referred to the c9ater Committee to investigate and report. ~ Mayor Holloway of Boynton then addressed the Council in i reference"to having a unif orm milk ordinance for the several towns in South Palm Beach County. Mr. Diggans offered the ~ following motion: That the President of the Council appoint: a member of the Council to meet with a Conmiittee from other .municipalities for the purpose of working out a milk ordinance and employing an inspector. The motion was seconded by Mr.k Berg and unanimously carried. Icir. Endsley was appointed on, this committee. .. ,, ~, Mr. Smith reported that c'~'~tain ells and valves were ~ needed in the 1~9ater Department. It was. moved by Mr. Berg, ~ ' seconded by Mr. Diggans and carried that the matter be referredt u , to the dater Committee with power to act. The motion was seconded by Doctor Love and unan- imously carried. It wras moved, seconded and carried that current bills be referred to the Finance Committee.
