Minutes of meetings held September 28th, October 1st , and 2nd were read and after being eonrected approved. The following ordinance then Dame up for second and ard^1 final reading: AN ORDINANCE 3-j~~ OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLOR- IDA ESTABLISHING AND LEVYING A TAX UPON ALL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, FOR TAE OPERAT-ION OF SAID CITY OF DELRAY BEACH DURING THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1 , A. D. 1931 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, A. D. 1932 AND ALSO LEVY- , ING A TAX UPON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY IN SAID CITY WHICH IS LOCATED WITHIN THE FORMER LIMITS OF THE FORMER CITY OF DELRAY '% FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING INTEREST ON BONDS OF SAID FORMER. K The following resolution was then introduced and read in 11211: A RESO ~' LUTION BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA DIRECTING PAYMENT ON A ` ^ , LL TAXES LEVIED FOR THE- YEAR 1930 TO BE PAID IN CAS << H. ~; VPHEREAS, pursuant to authority heretofore given the ~~ City of Delray Beach, said City Council, by resolution, auth- ~' orized the acceptance of sixteen (16j mills of delinquent taxes for the year 1930, in bonds. P~REAS, Fi7R~HER, it is now the desire that all Jelin quent taxes levied for the year. 1930 be paid in cash. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the authority spore said that on and after thirty days frost the passage hereof all delinquent taxes levied for the year 1930, be and the same, ,pF shall be paid in clash; .and that no bonds shall be taken~;n~by~~ ' the City as payment therefore. ..
