The Council met in special session at 9 A. P.4., the
P,Zayor and the follovaing members of the Council were present:
P,Zr. keen, I!~Pr. Smith, PJlr. Troup and T;1rs, y7arfield.
Mr. Cooke, one of the owners of the Cromer P3uilding,
came before the Council in reference to the construction of
the pavement on the South side of Atlantic Avenue adjacent to
this property. He proposed that the City construct the side-
vralk and that he would pay fifty per cent of the expense. It
wasn:~oved by NZr. Been, seconded by ItSr. Troup and unanimously
carried that the City accept P4r. Cooke's proposition.
Pdr. Leslie P~'joore requested permission. for the American
Legion to hold a tent show the week of February 25th. Action
on this matter was deferred.
There being no further business to come before the
meeting the Council adjourned.
