The Council met in special call session at 9 A, lli.,
the P~Iayor and the following members of the Council were
present: Par, porter, Par, Smith, P;Ir. Troup and T:irs. T7arfield.
On account of not having received any data in ref-
rence to the cost of the proposed building or_ the Delray
~otor Company site the tax_ matter on this property was de-
ferred.
P:?r. Porter was instructed to have an abstract gotten
up on the Zeder property with a view of closing on the pur-
chase of this property,
The matter of disposing of tax and lien certificates
was discussed but final action on this matter was deferred
until the next regular meeting.
A con::r_unicat ion was read from the P.4ilton-Myers Post
of the American Legion requesting permission to hold.a tent
show for the week of February 25th. It was moved by P~~r.
Troup and seconded by P,P:r. Porter that a permit be granted.
The motion was carried.
It was moved, seconded and carried that the abstract
to the Rista Hotel property be prepared by TnTr. Porter and
delivered to TvIr. Britton.
P:4r. Porter reported as having rented the t4ussle Sweet
Shop and Pdil.ler Barber Shop at a rental of "`25.00 per month
each. his action was approved by the Council
A comtnunieation was read from ',rs. Lucy J. Burd in
which he agreed to pay X300.00 in full settlement of her 1926
taxes in Section Four. Ivr. Porter then introduced the follow-
ing resolution and moved its adoption: ~7I3EREAS, LUCY J. BURD,
the o~mer of the Sz of the N2 of the Soh of the SPd of the S
2/5ths of the Nz of the N`:J of the S~'7~ of the Sw4; also the
S2 of the 2~4 of the S1+4 of Section 4, Township 46 South of
Range •43 East, upon which the Ci~y of Delray Beach, Florida,
assessed 1926 taxes in the amount of X609.60 together ~+ith
interest and fees of ';;:182.98, making a total of ?;792.58, and :~
has issued ~'~ Sale Certificates ~~025 and 5026 against said
property.

The resolution was seconded by Plr. Troup and on
roll call unanimously adopted.
P.Ir, Troup was on motion duly shade, seconded and
carried authorized to purchase twenty-two benches for the
suns of ;;30.00.
The Clerk was on moticn duly made, seconded and
carried authorized end instructed to pay bills for the play
ground isnnrovement ~rork in the park when 0. h.'d by P,.r.
5eestedt.
The Cleric was instructed to publish a notice in the
Delray Beach Nevrs in reference to the parking of automobiles
on Atlantic Avenue after three A. i~:~.
On motion duly nsade, seconded and carried Council
adjourned.
