The Council met in regular session at 7:30 P. T:i, with all
members present.
The minutes of previous meetings were read and approved
Mr. Smith reported that the work of laying the water mains
in Dell Park had been completed.
The Clerk was instructed to write the Florida Power Ec Light
Company in reference to their sending a representative to assist
in checking the lights that the committee contemplated discontin-
uing.
It was regularly moved, seconded and carried that current
bills be referred to the Finance Cami~ittee.
Pers. F:een reported the the piano at the golf club had been
tuned at an expense of X25.00 and suggested that the City pay one-
half of this expense. It was moved by y7r. Porter and seconded
by rzr. Keen that the City pay X12.50 of this expense. On roll
call the vote was as follows: Mr. Keen yea, Mr. Porter yea, r~rr.
Smith yea, Mr. Troup no, ruZrs. VJarfield yea. The motion was
declared carried.
Ou~rent bills having been audited and 0: K.'d by the Finance
Com:aittee were on motion duly made, seconded and carried referred
bacl: to the Council and ordered .paid.
It was moved by r~jr. Heen and seconded by I~ir. Porter that the
suit recently filed by the Seaboard Air Line Railway Company be
• settled. The motion was carried.
On motion duly made, seconded and carried Council adjourned
to meet at 9 A. r,2. Tuesday, July 9th, 1929.
