July 9th, 1929.
The council met .in adjourned regular session with the follova-
ing members present: P;Zayor Johnson, Nir. Keen, P.'Ir. Porter, il+I_r,
Smith and P~4r. Troup.
IvSr. Smith was, on motion duly made, seconded and carried,
elected president pro tem.
11^he first business taken up was matters pertaining to the
Equalization Board. PPs. B. F. i~noseley appeared before tYie Board
in reference to the assessment of 2.21 acres in Fenno Subdivision.
The matter was discussed and considered at length and it vaas found
that the assessors return seemed to be just and equitable and in
keeping with surrounding property. The Board therefore refused
to make any reduction.
It ryas -,roved, seconded and carried that the Equalization
Board adjourn to meet Friday, July 12th, 1929 at 9 A. It~i.
The Council then resumed in the regular session and it was
moved, seconded and carried that they adjourn to meet at 2 P, Tv7,

The Council met at 2 P, M, Mr. Main, of the Main Engineer-
ing Company was present and presented his contract for the plans
and supervision of the proposed new water plant. P3Ir. Porter moved
that the City enter into this contract with the NTain Engineering
Company and that the Ivlayor and City Clerk be authorized and in-
structed to sign said contract. On roll call the motion was unan-
imously carried'.
The Clerk was authorized to issue a check in favor of the
Main Engineering Company for 400.OC as called for in the foregoing
contract.
It vaas moved, seconded and carried that the Council adjourn
