COUNCIL ROOM
October 5th, 1929.
The Council .met in special session at 9. A. M. on
call oP the Mayor. The Mayor and the Following members of
the Council were present: Mr. Keen, Mr. Porter, Mr. Smith
and Mr. Troup.
Mr. Troup was on motion duly made, seconded and
parried elected president pro tem to preside at this meeting.
The application of George Smith for a building
permit to repair a building on Lot 2 Block D was discussed
but on account oP the applicant having no plans or specifica-
tions action on this matter was deferred.
A communication from Mr. E. C. Hall, requesting a
reduction oP license tag on moving picture theatres, was
read and 8iseussed. Mr. Porter then offered the Following
motion: That en ordinance be drawn reducing the occupational
license on moving picture theatres Prod X25.00 to X10.00,
The motion was seconded by Mri Keen and unanimously carrled.
Current bills having been checked and 0. K.td by
the Finance Committee were on motion duly made, seconded and
carried referred back to the Council and ordered paid.
It was moved, seconded and carried that PPaco webb
be paid X7.60 Por the use oP his truck at the City Park and
Cemetery.
Council adjourned.
