COUNCIL ROOD;
May 29th, 1928.
The Council met in regular adjourned session, all members
were present.
It was moved by Mr. Keen, seconded by Mrs. War if led and
unanimously carried that in the future all applications for
building permits must be made in writing, describing the size
of the structure, giving the distance from property lines on
the sides and also the distance from sidewalk line.
It was moved by bits. GTarfield and seconded by NIr. Keen
that the Clerk be instructed to issue a building permit to Nirs.
Raines providing her application for same would comply with the
requirements just adopted.
The president of the Council, Par. Troup, announced the
appointment of a zoning committee as follows: Mr. W. V. Bell,
Nit. H. E. Adams, Mr. E. C. Hall, Nir. Matt Gracey, and Mr: George
Austermann.
Nir. Keen requested further time to. adjust the claim of
Mr. U. B, Williams for water mains in Rosemont Park.
It was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that a per-
mit be granted rs. R. P. Endsley to repair the Oceari View Hotel.
A communication from Mrs. dean, Chairman oY the Civic
Committee of the 4lomens Club, was read and referred to the
Street Committee.
A communication from the Reverend John R. Evans, pastor
j of the Ebenezer Wesleyan Church, was read and referred to the
.I Water & Light 6ommittee.
A aonr~iunication from the Delray Laundry, signed by Mr.
Hollarn, was read and on motion was referred to the Water and
Light Committee.
. In the matter of tyre Florida East Coast Railway Company
crossings the attorney, Mr. Adams, was instructed to insist on
the completion of the crossing on NorthEast First Street at an
early date.
