The Council met in special session, the t.a~~or and all
Councilmen were present.
The iGater Committee reported that P.Fr. J. A. Zeder had
offered two tracts of land which he would sell either separate-
ly or collectively for water plant site. As the City
attorney was not ready to render an opinion on tixe abstract of
title he was granted an extension of time until hFonday night.
It was decided to go into discussion of the matter contingent
on the abstract being found marketable.
Dr. J. R. Cason offered a ten acre tract of land in hake
View Heights for the sum of X2500.00. Rir. J. S. Weupper
presented sathples of water taken from the. City hydrants and
also samples from the Gulf Stream Golf Club. The option of
P,~r. and Nirs. Zeder was read and it was moved by D:r. Smith,
seconded by Pair. Fieen, that the option be accepted contingent
on the abstract being approved by the attorney. On roll
call the vote vras as follows: ~Tr. Jacobs no, Iur. Been yea,
S:;r. Smith yea, Y:ir.. Troup yea, and P;Irs. Filarfield yea.
Council adjourned.
