32-78 ORDINANCE NO. 32-78 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, REZONING AND PLACING LAND PRESENTLY ZONED R-lA (SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING) DISTRICT, IN RM-6 (MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING) DISTRICT, LOTS 1 THROUGH 24, INCLUSIVE, BLOCK 72, DELRAY BEACH, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 10, PAGE 57, OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA. AMENDING "ZONING MAP OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, 1977". WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board at the April 18, 1978, meeting unanimously recommended rezoning and placing land presently zoned R-lA (Single Family Dwelling) District in RM-6 ~ultiple Family Dwelling) District; and, WHEREAS, the City Council at workshop on May 1, 1978, considered the rezoning request and determined that such change should be made, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the following described property in the City of Delray Beach, Florida, is hereby rezoned and placed in the RM-6 (Multiple Family Dwelling) District as defined in Chapter 29 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Delray Beach to-wit: Lots 1 through 24, inclusive, Block 72, Delray Beach as recorded in Plat Book 10, Page 57, of the Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida. The subject property is in Sec. 16-46-43, and is located on the east side of Swinton Avenue between S.E. 3rd Street and S.E. 4th Street. Section 2. That the Planning Director of said City shall upon the effective date of this ordinance, change the zoning map of Delray Beach Florida, to conform with the provisions of Section 1 hereof. Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage on second and final reading. PASSED AND ADOPTED in regular session on second and final reading on this 12th day of June , 1978.
