September 15th, 1928.
The Council met iii the office of the City Attorney. The
DSayor and all members of the Council were present.
The seouritiea held by the pity as collateral against their
deposit in the Delray Bank ~ Trust Company now in the hands of Mr.
J. A. Adams as receiver were gone over carefully, checked in detail
and appraised. A total valuation of X72,348,05 was planed on
these uncollected securities.
It was moved by Mr. Keen, seconded by bra. Warfield and un-
animously carried that Mr. John H. Adams be employed as special
attorney to collect these seouritiea in~the beat possible wa and
Yor said apeoial services was to be paid a commission of Ton
said collections, and that the Glerk snd Gity Attorney be authorized
to prepare and execute a contract to this effect.
The Council adjourned to meet September 19th, 1928.
