The Council met in adjourned regltlar meeting.
' The main purpose of the meeting was to hear complaints on.,
paving constructicn as jrovided by a resolution d~.ted
June 27th,`orderinL an assessment roll to be prepared.
Vice-mayor Barwick, Councilmen Evans, Jelks,
Johnson and Sundy were present. ~ .4 -

that the City Engineer be instructed to authorize tlie,.ooYt p,;
tractor to proceed with the construction of sdewall~ on`!~'-
Southeast Fifth Avenue but to. postpone the, work on North ,~
s east Fifth Avenue pending further consideration. 1~';;
The meeting was then open to complaints from prog-~"
erty owners in regard to the proposed street improvementv,~.w;
program. Mr. F.•T. Noble addressed the Council and stated
