A RESOLUTION OF THE CITI OF DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA,
REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 112-19, APPROVING THE
UTILIZATION OF CONTRACT NO. 17-0606G BE1WE EN LAKE
COUNTI, FLORIDA AND MUNICIPAL EMERGENCY SERVICES,
INC., TO OBTAIN EQUIPMENT FOR THE DELRAY BEACH FIRE
DEPARTMENT; AUTHORIZING THE CITI MANAGER TO EXECUTE
AN AMENDED MASTER EQUIPMENT LEASE PURCHASE
AGRE EMENT WITH COMMUNITI FIRST NATIONAL BANK;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Delray Beach ("City") is authorized to enter into agreements to provide services,
programming and products in accordance with its Charter; and
WHEREAS, on May 21, 2019, the City approved Resolution No. 112-19 authorizing the City Manager
to utilize Contract No. 17-0606G to obtain equipment for the Delray Fire Department and authorizing the City
Manager to enter a Master Equipment Lease Purchase Agreement with Community First National Bank; and
WHEREAS, prior to full execution of the Master Equipment Lease Purchase Agreement, the City was
awarded Federal Grant #EMQ-20180FO-05865; and
WHEREAS, based on the grant award, the previously approved payment schedule for the Master
Equipment Lease Purchase Agreement with Community First National Bank must be amended to reflect a lower
amount requiring financing; and
WHEREAS, the City requires Self-Contained Breathing Apparatuses and Cylinders in order to operate
its Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to utilize the pricing from Lake County Contract No. 17-0606G to acquire
said equipment; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into an agreement with Community First National Bank, a leasing
and financing division of Municipal Emergency Services, to purchase the necessary equipment, spreading the
costs over three payments; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems approval of this Resolution to be in the best interest of the
health, safety, and welfare of the residents and citizens of the City of Delray Beach and the public at large.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITI COMMISSION OF THE CITI OF
DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:

The foregoing recitals are hereby affirmed and ratified.
The City Commission of the City of Delray Beach hereby repeals Resolution No. 112-19.
Section 3. The City Commission of the City of Delray Beach has reviewed and hereby approves the
utilization of Lake County Contract No. 17-0606G with Municipal Emergency Services to secure pricing for
necessary equipment to operate its Fire Department.
Section 4. The City Commission of the City of Delray Beach has reviewed and hereby approves the
Agreement between the City and Community First National Bank with an amended payment schedule, which is
attached to this Resolution as Exhibit "A".
Section S. The City Commission authorizes the City Manager to execute the Agreement and any
amendments and/ or renewals thereto and take any other actions necessary to effectuate this Agreement.
Section 6. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
