Pursuant to Section 3.12 of the Charter of the City of Delray Beach the Mayor has instructed me to
announce a Workshop Meeting of the City Commission to be held for the following purposes:

Mayor Glickstein called the joint meeting with the City Commission and the
Delray Beach CRA Board of Directors to order at 4:00 p.m.

Rob Steele, Executive Director of Old School Square, said that the
planning process to date had been very beneficial. Mr. Steele presented a
brief overview of potential plans for Old School Square. Following Mr.
Steele's remarks, staff from Currie Sowards Aguila Architects and HLB
LIghting and TBG Partners, Landspace Architects reviewed detailed
elements of a proposed master plan based on input by community
stakeholders.
Mr. Currie and his fellow professional consultants provided brief follow-ups
information to the earlier questions.
Mayor Glickstein invited comments from the City Commission and the CRA
Board of Directors.
Mr. Steele responded to suggestions from both the CRA Board of
Directors and Mayor and City Commission. Mayor Glickstein said that the
proposed master plan was a great one.

A discussion between the City Commissiion, CRA Board of Directors and
Mr. Steele and the professional consultants ensued.
Mayor Glickstein noted that the master plan for Old School Square would
need to be reviewed by the Historical Preservation Board before coming
back to the City Commission. There was consensus on approving the
master plan in concept. Mayor Glickstein commended Fances Bourque for
all of her efforts on behalf of Old School Square. Ms. Bourque said this
was one of the happiest moments she had experienced in the past two or
three years.
There being no further business, Mayor Glickstein adjourned the meeting at
5:55 p.m.
