The council met in adjourned regular session, the
`~ ~!Iayor presiding. Councilmen Barwick, Evans, Jelks, O'Neal,
and Sundy were present.
Iv:r. Harold Baohe appeared before the council in regard
to a location for a Boy Scout's hut, the council promised to
co-operate in securing a location.
It was moved by PvTr.Evans, and seconded by P,Zr.Sundy
that the clerk be instructed to have a representative from
the Electric Bond and Share Company call upon the city council
and make a proposition to furnish the city with electric
current. The motion was carrie{1 on roll call.
Mr. Alex O.Taylo ~v~s~istructed to file in the city
clerk's office a letter showing the fees to be charged for
different types ofa
~"` . Covn~aman Jelks po~;~d that the Hall Realty Co.

Inc. had agxeed to sell 5 feet,in the North East Corner of
Block 101 for street purposes,to the city for 10,000.00.

It was moved by I,Ir.Evans, seconded by Idr.O'Neal that the city
attorney be instructed to draw up a contract with the fIall
Realty Co. Inc., and that the Iriayor and Clerk be authorized
to sign said contract on behalf of the city. d'he motion was

It was moved,seconded,and carried that a plat
of a subdivision knovan as Del Cid be approved.
The Street Committee tivas instructed to work out
a solution of the present street paving contract
with the East Coast Construction Co., and recommend
back to the aouneil a method of procedure.
The oouncil adjourned.
