The adjourned regular session of the council was
called to order by Mayor SresentwitCouncil aneEvans wasp
Jelks, 0 Neal, and Sandy p
absent .
The minutes of the previous meetir~g7were read
and approved.
A resolution requiring all Florida East Coast
Railway trains to stop at Atlantic Avenue and empowering
the watchman to flag all trains to a stop at said
crossing was laid before the council by Mr. Je]lcs,
it was moved by Mr. Jelks, seconded by Mr. O'Neal that
this resolution be adopted, On roll call the vote was
unanimous.
It was moved by Mr. Jelks that the Yinance
committee be instructed to carry out the details of
collecting the money for the9001000.00 Bond Issue
at Jacksonville according to a contract with Mr.P.P.
Prudden and others for sale of the bonds. The motion
was regularly seoonded and carried on roll call.
The bids for streets and curbing in the cemetery
were then opened and it was moored by Mr. Barwick, '
seoonded by Mr. O'Neal that the contraot be awarded to
Mr. Frank Besseliea. The motion. was carried.
After considerable discussion with Mr.Pernie
and Mr. Ales 0 Taylor of the city engineers, it was
moved by Mr. Jelks, seoonded by Mr. Sandy that the
construction of sewage disposal system be referred to
the committee on sanitation with power t o act. The
motion was carried on roll Dell.
Mr. Evans being absent the Mayor appointed
Mr.Jelks as ember pro te;p,.of the Finance Committee.
Current bills having be~'n'.~'eferred to the Finance
Committee for audit were, referred back to t$e council
and ordered paid. ~~w

It was moved by Mr. Barwick, seconded by
Mr. Sundt' that the city engineers be instructed
to work on plans for '~h$ athletic field on the 1,
golf course site. The motion was carried.
It was moved, seconded, and carried that
the question of maintaining the golf course
be referred to Mr.B.F.Sundy for recommendations
to the council at its neat regular meeting.
The motion was carried. %~
It was moved, seoonded, and carried that
bids be asked for the laying of the water mains
according to the engineers design and that these
bids be opened at the regular m~etin~ of May
10th, 1926. The council instructed that bids
be asked for the entire Sob including the buying
of the pipe and the laying of it.
The council adjourned to 3 PM. April 19th,
1926,
