Replace damaged siding with matching siding. Install a lamp post style mount for a 2'x 2' wood shingle sign, white background, black lettering. Sign to be located at the corner of N.E. 1st Ave. and N.E. 2nd St. (see survey) . Ids . Shannon says she will work with the County Extension Agent for landscaping suggestions. The removal of the inappropriate brick wall surrounding the banyon tree would be a great improvement. Paint both houses white with black trim. 4 . COA 8-105 131 S.E. 1st Avenue, Cheryl Jones, Owner. Install new roof, new canvas on awnings, paint house and trim. The roof will be replaced to match existing roof. The new canvas awnings will be exactly the same as existing awnings and will be dark green. Ms. Jones plans to paint the house the same colors that the Echols have used on their Fontaine Fox cottages ( across the street and 2 houses north) . Pale pink with a very dark green trim. I have color samples for the meeting. 5. COA 8-095 A 18 Lake Court, Vivian or James Van Dorn, Owners. Install new roof. The applicant applied for a building permit and the application was sent to me, along with a sample of the material. I drove past that same day to see if it matched the existing roof and found that work had already been started. I phoned the building department to see if they had been issued a permit by mistake. No permit had been issued. As of yesterday the roof was half completed. I have written to the Van Dorns and have placed them on the agenda, but the deed is done. Fortunately the roof is appropriate and seems to be the same as the old roof. 6. COA 8-103 A 401 N.E. 2nd Avenue, Charles and Jeanne Goodson, Owners. Presented by Robert Pitts or Wm. Maher, Authorized Agents . Allow a change of use from residential to intermediate care facility. This is a conditional use in the RM 10 zoning district.
