The resources listed below were thoroughly researched and found the following information: X Florida Master Site File PB10265 (See Attached). N/A Planning &Zoning Tracking System for Previous Applications No previous applications are on record. N/A Historic Preservation Board Minutes No previous applications are on record. X Old City Clerk Tax Cards Building Permit#2784, dated July 13, 1953 (See Attached). Notes A/C installed 1977, aluminum roof installed 1984. X Building Department Microfiche Permit#2784 from 1953 shows the site plan, floor plan, and front elevation of a single family residence. (See Attached) X Permit Tracking History (AS400) 1994—Alarm, 1999—Reroof. (See Attached). N/A Sanborn Insurance Maps Maps do not show 300 block of SE 7th Avenue. X Other: Marina Historic District Inventory Map Circa 1988 Notes a date of 1953, as well as a non-contributing classification. In summary, the structure was classified a non-contributing structure in 1988 when it was originally surveyed for its historical importance. In 1999, the structure was resurveyed and noted that it"could be considered a contributing resource within the local historic district". It was also noted that the original windows were replaced circa 1970. 340 SE 7` Avenue—Historic Verification Letter Page 2 of 2 However, City records do not contain information regarding their replacement and documentation would need to be submitted in order to determine their age. there have been minimal alterations to the structure. Therefore, the property maintains its contributing classification. The subject property is zoned R1 AA_ (Zoning Blurb, typical) In addition, the proposed addition shall be in compliance with the Secretary of the Interiors Standards for Rehabilitation The following Standards apply to the potential application: o New additions, exterior alterations, or related new construction shall not destroy historic materials that characterize the property. The new work shall be differentiated from the old and shall be compatible with the massing, size, scale, and architectural features to protect the historic integrity of the property and its environment. (Standard#9)! o New additions and adjacent or related new construction shall be undertaken in such a manner that if removed in the future, the essential form and integrity of the historic property and its environment would be unimpaired. X Other: Marina Historic District Inventory Map Circa 1988 Notes a date of 1953, as well as a non-contributing classification. In summary, the structure was classified a non-contributing structure in 1988 when it was originally surveyed for its historical importance. In 1999, the structure was resurveyed and noted that it "could be considered a contributing resource within the local historic district".
