I spoke to the people we purchased our home from on 2003 (Stuart&Cynthia Poole)and they said the conversion on the garage was already done when they purchased the home in 2001. They did say that they installed a window in this structure and did have a permit. Is it possible that George didn't search back far enough for these permits?
