COUNCIL CHAMBER
The Council met in regular session with the Mayor
presiding. Councilmen Barwick, Jelks, O'Neal and 3undy
were present. Councilman Evans was absent.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and
approved.
Permit to repair the Lutheran Parsonage on the
North Dixie Highway was granted to John I. Thieme.
It was moved by Mr. Barwick and regularly seconded
that bids be advertised for sidewalk, curb and gutter on
three sides of the school property, namely on the North,
Bast and West.
Current bills having been referred to the Finance
Committee, were audited, referred back to the Council and
ordered paid.
It was moved by Mr. O'Neal that Fairbanks, Morse
& Company be requested to send the past due warrants on
the three hundred horse power engine to the Ocean City
Bank and that payment be made on thes6'warrants provided
the company allow a deduction of $735.92. The motion
was regularly seconded and carried on roll call.
The Council ad]4ourned to eight P. M. Friday the
16th.
