Council met in regular adjourned session with
Sundy presiding. Councilmen Barwick, Evans and
present. Councilman O'Neal was absent.
The Audit Committee, composed of Yx . Jelks, chairman,
referred several bids for the annual audit to the Council.
It was moved, seconded and carried on roll call that A. S.
Elliott be employed to audit the books of the City of Delray
for the fiscal year ending September 30th, 1926.
It was moved that the City Managers office be
abolished and his duties be divided between the City Engineer
and the City Clerk and that the office of Sanitary Inspector
and Health Officer be comjiined with thgof Chief of Police
to take effect immediately. The motion was seconded and
carried on roll call.
It was moved, seconded and carried on roll call that Mr.
Adkins be instructed to purchase the necessary equipment for
the engineering department.
The Council adjourned.
