The Council met in adjourned regular session with
Vice- Idayor Sundy presiding. Councilmen Barwick, Evans,
Jelks and O'Neal were present.
It was regulr.rly moved, seconded and carried that
the item of $11,546.18 for electric line extensions since
I,.arch lst, 1926 be referred to the Florida Power & Light
Company for.payment.
It was moved by idir. Jelks and seconded by 'Kr. Barwick
that the Mayor be requested to designate the week from Oct-
ober 4th to October 11th as Clean Up PJeek and that the use
of city equipment to aid in the clean up be authorized.
After considerable discussion it was moved that the
following budget for the year 1926 -27 be adopted and that the
millage for the year be fixed at fourteen. The iter, of
Five thousand Dollars for the Chamber of Commerce for ad-
vertising was granted with the restriction�,,��t,,hat the appro-
priation be made monthly sub,iect to the ronly agroval of the
City Council before said expenditure is made.
