COUNCIL ROOM
December 27th, 1926.
The Council met in regular session with the Mayor
presiding. All Councilmen were present.
The minutes of the previous meetings were read and
pproved.
It was moved that a coi#munication from Mr. Walter P.
own in regard to a bill for extras in building the sewer -
e disposal tank be referred to the Sanitation Committee
d the City Engineer. The motion was seconded and carried
animously on roll call.
It was regularly moved, seconded and carried that Mr.
. L. Tenbrook be refunded the 1925 taxes on the,Tenbrook
iilding since the building was not built until after Janu-
ry lst, 1925.
It was moved, seconded and carried on roll call that
he settlement of the contract with D. J. Hefferman for the
urchase of the water mains in Dell Park be referred to'the
ater and Light Committee for investigation and for report
t the next Council Meeting.
Current bills having been audited by the Finance Com -�
ittee were referred back to the Council and ordered paid.
It was moved by Mr. Jelks that the City Engineer be
instructed to purchase one car load of Kentucky rock asphalt
for street repairs.
A petition from certain property owners do the North
,t of the Gity requesting exclusion from the City Limits
laid before the Council together with an opinion from
City Attorney regarding the legality of such action.
