APRIL 14, 1989 AT 8:00 A.M.

1. The Chairperson called the meeting to order at 8: 10 a.m.
2. The recording secretary took the roll.
3 . Pat Cayce introduce Mr Howard Henking from Tri-County
Commuter Rail.
Mr. Henking addressed the Board. Mr. Henking stated various
detail regarding building structure located at W. Atlantic.
Property in question is owned by Mr. Richard Brautigan, who
stated that Delray Beach station was the last to be determined
by the Tri Rail Commission.
The Board Members agree that this is an inappropriate
structure as a permanent building and it should be considered
temporary. Time suggested first was six (6) months,
however, Mr. Henking wants nine ( 9) months to one ( 1) year.
Mr. Mayhew wants to make a motion to vote on temporary
approval, Ms. Ruby suggested this issue be put on agenda
for next meeting April 21, 1989. The Board Members agreed.
There were concerns around locations, should it remain or be
moved to the N.W. corner of the station. Ms. Finst and Mr.
Nathanson both agree to move the location, Ms Healy didn' t.
Mr. Henking suggested the Board Members submit to him what
they feel are alternative plans for the Tri-County Communter
Rail. He agreed to take these plans back to his superiors
for consideration. The Board will send a letter to Mr.
Henking and Tri-County Communter Rail to consider the

1. Change of location to N. W. corner.
2. Temporary building for nine ( 9) months to
one (1) year.
3 . How much will the building cost.
Mr. Henking will complete the COA and have it ready for the
April 21, 1989 meeting.
Mr. Nathanson raised the issued regarding Scenic Swinton,
(the plans for Scenic Swinton Avenue have been removed from
the Comprehensive Plan) he suggested letters be sent to Gene
Fisher and Ann Fulton to reopen this issue. He also requested
Board Members to attend The Comprehensive Plan Public Hearing and
lobby the commissioners.
Mr. Nathanson made a motion to adjourn at 9: 40 a.m. , the motion
was seconded by Mr. Mayhew. Approved.
