DAN SLOAN / V DARLA SERNOFF V 1 PAM REEDER CITY OF DELRAY BEACH HISTORIC PRESERVATION BOARD ORDER In Re: 20 South Swinton Avenue Property Owner, Dharma Properties Authorized Agent, Sign-A-Rama ORDER Following consideration of all the evidence and testimony presented at the February 3, 2010 meeting before the Historic Preservation Board for the City of Delray Beach and Pursuant to LDR Section 2.4.6(H)(5), prior to approval, a finding must be made that any Certificate of Appropriateness which is to be approved is consistent with Historic Preservation purposes pursuant to Objective A-4 of the Land Use Element of the Comprehensive Plan and specifically with provisions of Section 4.5.1, the Delray Beach Historic Preservation Design Guidelines, and the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation. The action before the Board is a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA 2010-063) for signage on a contributing property located at 20 South Swinton Avenue, Old School Square Historic District, pursuant to Land Development Regulations (LDR) Section 2.4.6(H). The Historic Preservation Board finds that there is ample and competent substantial evidence to support its findings that the application for Consideration of a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA 2010-063) for signage on a contributin structure on the property referenced above is hereby granted denied by a vote of - O . Pursuant to LDR Sections 2.4.7(E)(1) and 2.4.7(E)(3)(a), a decision of the Historic Preservation Board may be appealed to the City Commission so long as a letter of appeal is received by the City Clerk within ten(10) working days of the action being appealed.
