The Council met in regal r session, the iaiayor

presiding, Councilmen Jelks, I',4alone,and Sundt' were
present. Councilmen Scott and O'Neal were absent.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and
approved.

laid before the council; it was moved by i<x. Jelks and
•6 seconded by Iwgr.Sundy that the resignation be accepted.
The motion was carried.

The City Clerk laid before the council his annual
report together with the Audit report of the Sjostrom
Co. It was moved by L'"~r.Jell~s, seconded by T:Ir.Illaalone
and agreed that the audit be accepted.
An ordinance reu.esting permission from the Florida
East Coat Ra~.lway Co. for two cable crossings on
Atlantic Ave. was laid before the council for its
readigr;, by unanimous consent the rules were suspended
and the ordinance read for the second tune by caption
only. The council deemed it an emergency, and the
ordinance was placed on its third reading and. dinal
passage. Those voting in the affirmative on its final

The Ballot Box containing ti.e returns of the City
Election October oth.1925, was brought before the council
by the Cm.~y Clerk, and was duly opened by the ;Iayor,
The returns of the inspectors shouted the follotiving votes
to be cast.
